Before you read this post, read the one before it. I wrote it last night, but didn't feel that it was really blog worthy until now.
Have you read it?
Seriously, read it first!
By the way, this may be TMI!
Ok, so by now you've read that Tanner loves to sleep on the couch, if you did as I asked ;). Well....last night, he fell off the couch. Barry and I were woken up by this loud thud. Barry rushes in to check on him, while I doze back to sleep. Don't worry! I wasn't asleep long! Tanner was slightly confused by what had happened, and he was screaming his head off.
I'm still in bed.
Barry helps Tanner into the bathroom, so Tanner can go potty.
Tanner is still screaming. I'm still in bed.
Barry brings him back to our bedroom. Tanner is still screaming. Barry lifts him into our bed, so I can rub his back and calm him.
He calms down. Phew! He is relaxed. A little too relaxed. I feel something wet. Ew!The bed is wet. How is the bed wet? Ew! Tanner wet our bed. Apparently, when I was too sleepy (lazy?!) to get up and help my husband with our son, and I thought (key word-thought) he had gone to the bathroom...He did not. That will teach me.
We put Tanner back on the couch, surrounded by pillows this time. Safety first. Unfortunately, we only have one set of sheets for our bed. Fortunately, I always kick off the unfitted sheet. We were able to use it for the rest of the night.
Can you guess what my husband is doing right now? Laundry. No peed on sheets for me.
I think Tanner may be sleeping in his own bed...just maybe.

At least he did not pee on the couch. I had that happen with my sons friend, and he never told us just got up and chaged, and after we had company come on go (and sit on the couch) we then sat on the couch and were like WHAT is that smell, oh yeah our guest had sat in pee all night without saying a word...
That is so funny! I can't wait for the potty training phase!
Marathon For a Month is something that I'm doing to help a good friend and her husband who was recently diagnosed with testicular cancer. You give a $20. donation and commit to run or walk 26.2 miles over the course of Nov. You get a t-shirt--and like I've been telling people--the ability to eat extra at Thanksgiving! :) If you are interested let me know! :)The link on Jace's blog will take you to my email.
Those kind of nights leave you feeling like a zombie the next day! The things we go through as parents....
