Yesterday, the boys and I traveled to the big city for their annual check-ups. Of course the one time a year we go when they are not sick, they wanted to sit on the sick patient side because it had a tv. I obliged. It really wasn't a battle I wanted to fight. Especially since they spend all day at daycare with yucky germs anyway.
Tanner is doing well. He loves to read, and he is learning so much in preschool. He weighs a whopping 40 lbs and is 41 in tall. After the dr., we headed to Target to purchase a booster seat. He really looks like a big boy now.
Jackson loves reading, too. He copies whatever we say when we read to him. He is 29 lbs and 34 1/4 inches. Jackson took over Tanner's old carseat because he'd grown out of his carseat. They were both REALLY happy about their new seats. Yea!!

25 Random Things About Me
I did this on Facebook, and I thought it was fun. I'm not tagging anyone because I'm not sure 5 people read my blog let alone 25.
Rules: Once you've been tagged, you are supposed to write a note with 25 random things, facts, habits, or goals about you. At the end, choose 25 people to be tagged. You have to tag the person who tagged you. If I tagged you, it's because I want to know more about you.
1. I want to adopt a baby girl from China or Vietnam.
2. I want to go on a Mission Trip some day.
3. I hated the name Tanner when I first heard it. Obviously, I changed my mind.
4. I felt incredibly guilty when I named Jackson because I didn’t want my cousin to be mad at me for “stealing” her name.
5. I NEVER do laundry. My husband does it because I refuse to go downstairs to our scary basement.
6. My husband treats me like a princess!
7. I’m getting ready to lead a Bible study for the first time. The Frazzled Female. Sounds like fun, doesn’t it?!
8. I love being back in my hometown! I never thought I would say that.
9. My favorite food is Mexican.
10. I have 2 sisters and 2 step-sisters. They are the greatest sisters a girl could have.
11. I love to read. I love the Twilight series! They are so good! Can anyone recommend a good book while I’m waiting on Breaking Dawn?
12. I enjoy learning about other people.
13. I LOVE to eat cake, ice cream, and candy. I have eaten an entire bag of Reese’s Peanut Butter Trees in one sitting. I devoured an entire cake in one evening.
14. I heart blogging!
15. My favorite TV show is Friends. I also enjoy watching Monk, Psych, Ghost Whisperer, How I Met Your Mother, Two and a Half Men, New Adventures of Old Christine, Criminal Minds, Ugly Betty, Privileged.
16. I love watching scary movies…not gory, just scary.
17. I love Make-Up! My favorite is Mary Kay.
18. I enjoy exercising. Running is my new favorite even though I am incredibly slow. I miss aerobics with all the girls. I promise I will be back.
19. After 30 years of being messy, I’ve taken up the act of cleaning. Although, my car is still a disaster. I will get to it one of these days.
20. I rarely plan because things don’t go the way they should when I do plan.
21. I wish I was a better friend. I think I talk too much, and I don’t listen enough.
22. I’m slightly obsessed with the internet.
23. I am scatterbrained.
24. I take forever to tell a story. It’s ridiculous!
25. I seriously considered joining the military after 9/11. Can you see me in the Army?! However, I have great admiration for those who serve others so selflessly.

I am in love...
with a vampire. Okay, not really. But I do love the Twilight series! These books are so good! I am NOT kidding! I was skeptical at first. For the past year, people have been telling me to read Twilight. I was like "seriously, I'm not reading a stupid book about vampires! How can a book about vampires be good?!" Obviously, I can't tell you that...you need to go read it for yourselves. Now, quit reading this and start reading Twilight. It will not disappoint!
